About us

Behind this project are Émilie and Victor.

While our respective careers led us to meet in the offices of a major French bank, it was our shared passion for gastronomy and sharing that gave birth to this adventure. As parents of a blended family of four boys, we wanted to create an offering that reflects who we are: authentic, demanding, and accessible.

The Legacy of Family Expertise

For Victor, of Chinese origin, cooking is first and foremost a story of transmission. His grandfather, who arrived in France in his forties, paved the way by founding a renowned traditional restaurant near the Jardin du Luxembourg, in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. His parents then took over the establishment for more than 40 years.

Having grown up to the rhythm of services and preparations, Victor inherited this precious expertise. A cybersecurity engineer by day, he has never left the kitchen and perpetuates these family recipes at home: truly delicious baozi, dumplings (jiaozi), or his famous crispy pork, prepared with meats selected from our friend artisan butcher in Palaiseau.

The Observation: The Demand for Proximity

The idea for our online store was born from a daily reality. Living in the agglomeration of Palaiseau, we struggled to find quality Asian products nearby. Our weekends often involved long journeys to specialized Parisian supermarkets, such as Tang Frères, to find the right ingredients.

For Émilie, Head of Operational Excellence (and former IT developer), daily life consists of identifying friction points and designing effective solutions. It was natural for us to combine our skills to create the local service that our neighborhood so desperately needed.

Our Mission: Making Asian Gastronomy Accessible

We designed our offer for all Asian flavor lovers who enjoy these dishes but don't always dare to prepare them themselves.

Asian cuisine is renowned for its freshness and speed of execution, especially with quick stir-frying in a wok. To overcome the obstacles related to product selection or complex sauce measurements, we have created turnkey Meal Kits and selected the best of gourmet groceries.

Our ambition is simple: to provide you with the right ingredients and Victor's family recipes so that you can cook at home with as much pleasure as ease.
